The feeling of freedom we experience while sailing is what drives us in our pursuit of this incredible pastime. Working hard to stay constantly in tune with mother nature and her many mood swings helps keep us undeniably more grounded in the present. In the hands of an experienced captain our vessel’s movements feel almost effortless. We hope to share these experiences with you. With these day-dreams in mind, it is with great jubilation and anticipation that we invite you to treat yourself and those favorite members of your circle to a memorable experience on the wild and wonderful Penobscot Bay.

   It is our goal to provide you as our guests with an unparalleled level of respect and attentiveness. Honesty regarding your experience is one of our central tenants. We work hard to anticipate conditions on the bay and will make every effort to ensure your comfort during your time with us. We sail as far as we can, as efficiently as we can in the time allotted so as to give each charter the maximum opportunity to embrace the beauty of our local geology and wildlife.

No two trips are ever the same.

    Our private excursions are simply priced at the flat rate of $110 per hour. This rate gives up to six guests access to our vessel and a professionally trained and licensed captain who is also well versed in local lore. Our traditional gaff-rigged Friendship Sloop was built here in Camden in 1964. It’s builder, Elmer Collomer, was regarded by some local boating enthusiasts as “the last of the old timers." Heritage was designed by the well renowned Murray Peterson and built in Collomer’s barn on Cross Street. Like most of the fleet, we operate under a policy of Bring Your Own Beverages. There is a small private head (toilet) down below and all trips include water and the use of our ice chest for storing any of your preferred libations. We are happy to assist you in your search for sustenance prior to getting out on the water.
